Aspire One In Stock in USA

Acer began shipping its Aspire One netbook in the USA yesterday.

The version that is available at Newegg and Amazon features Linpus Linux and:

  • 8.9″ display
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 8 GB  solid state hard drive
  • 802.11b/g wi-fi
  • 1.3 mp webcam
  • Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz CPU


Newegg has it in stock for $379 plus $10.99 for shipping.

Amazon.com has the same model available in stock for $416.99 for pre-order for $379.99 with free shipping.

Update 7/16/08: Amazon has corrected their price – and it is no longer in stock.  I have updated the text.
