It is really interesting to watch the prices vary between the different colors of the same netbook.

Normally, when a new netbook is introduced, all of the colors are priced the same.

However, over time, various online retailers will drop the price on one or two colors. I am guessing that this is due to overstock; but I don’t really know.

If you are not locked into purchasing a specific color, then these variation provide opportunities for big savings.

Even the new 10″ Aspire One 160G 3-Cell XP model already has a price variation.  The Diamond Black color is available for $313.00 while the other colors range from $325.99 to $329.00.
