Which Netbook Should We Give Away?

Posted by Tom Greer on May 4, 2009 in Netbooks

Netbook Scoop will give away a netbook at the end of May.  We plan to order a new netbook.  Unbox and review it.  Then give it away.

Our problem?  We can’t agree on which netbook.

Help us by voting.

In May, we are going to give away a netbook.
Which one would you like us to give away?

What ever happened to the classic days when a PC was sold without an OS? Perhaps that would lower the price further and allow people to select a machine based on shear hardware.

Could you imagine, buying the Asus Eee PC 1000 HE without having to fork up a bill for XP? Perhaps the price would fall under 3 bills?

    RJ,

You must be older than me (that pretty old), because as far back as I remember, computers came with an OS.

    Chris,

For years, I have been purchasing computers with a Microsoft OS and immediately wiping it to install Linux.

When I recently replaced my personal netbook, I bought one with Linux pre-installed.
