April was a big month for Samsung. Samsung announced the N310 Netbook and released the N110, N120, and NC20.
After the success of the NC10, which is one of my favorite netbooks on the market, Samsung has followed up with the N110 and N120 which are very similar to the Samsung NC10.
I’ve posted information on the N110, N120, and N310 netbooks below. Click through the tabs and look at each model. While they are all very similar, there are a few significant differences between the models.
One thing I love about the N110 is the red stripe the runs along the edge of the Netbook. It gives the N110 a nice touch and sets ever so slightly apart from the other models.
Samsung souped-up the battery in the N110. It gives you a whopping 8+ hours battery life, which is one of the longest on the market.
One of the most talked about weaknesses of the NC10 was the track pad. Samsung was obviously listening, because the all of their new netbooks (including the N110) have a track pad that is much larger.
One of the other differences in the N110 compared to the other models is that it comes with a glossy black finish along with a glossy LCD. If you are not a big fan of finger prints, you may want to look at the N120 instead.

One thing that the Samsung N120 brings to the table is one of the largest keyboards on a netbook to date. The N120 features a 97% full size keyboard which is very nice!
One of the other differences that the Samsung N120 has, compared to the other models, are speakers on each side of the display.
This is nice upgrade from the Samsung NC10 where the speakers on the bottom, which muffles the sound. This is a small but nice improvement to the N series.

Coming sometime in May, Samsung is going to be launching the N310.
This netbook brings a nice new look to Samsung’s product line. At only 1.1 inches thick, this is the thinnest of the Samsung netbooks. The video below shows how attractive the N310 is.
Other than the design of the case, the Samsung N310 does not have many other differentiating features.
One is the upgraded Wifi to 802.11b/g/n. Also, the keyboard is different. It is reported to be like the Asus Eee PC 1000HE. This is interesting, since the NC10’s keyboard is one of the most highly regarded netbook keyboards, it seems silly to downgrade. We will wait to see the production models.
From a performance perspective, the N310 is very close to the other Samsung models.
I found a nice video showing the Samsung N310 and it’s many different colors. I think it is a nice change for the Samsung lineup and brings something a little different to the table.
