This morning, we have several netbooks where the lowest price has dropped by $5.00 or more.
The first one on our list is a great bargain. One of the Amazon.com merchants have cut their price on the Pearl White model of the Asus Eee PC 900 16G XP to $249.99.

If you would prefer a 10″ netbook, instead of the 9″ model above, then take a look at the Acer Aspire One D150 10″ 160GB 3-Cell XP. Mwave has just cut their price on the Ruby Red model to $279.99 with FREE shipping.

The final entry in today’s falling prices list is the MSI Wind U100 160G 3-Cell XP. Since MSI introduced the new U123, the prices on the older U100 models have been dropping.
A couple of the Amazon merchants are having a price war on the Black model. Yesterday, one of them cut their price to $299.99. Just before midnight, a different Amazon.com merchant responded by slashing their price to $295.99.

Lenovo makes quality notebook computers. Their initial netbook, the Ideapad S10 is a rock-solid, although somewhat unimaginative entry into an already crowded market niche.
Now that Lenovo has announced the S12, it’s not surprising to find the prices on the S10 models dropping.
If you are looking for a good deal on a dependable netbook, then Super Warehouse may have just what you are looking for. They have the Lenovo Ideadpad S10e model in Black marked down to $313.00.
Until recently, these typically sold for $349 or so. I’m sure that Super Warehouse is clearing shelf space to make way for the new S12 model, so don’t expect these to last.

They have a few in stock, but don’t expect them to be there for long at this price.

The Asus N10J-A1 has received a lot of attention since it was introduced. The thing that make it special is that is has two graphics adapters.
An NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS provide great video performance (but suck the life out of the battery). But when you are just surfing the net or doing emails, then you can switch back to the standard Intel GMA950.
It has a lot of other neat features like a fingerprint reader for security and a sharp-looking silver case.
The big knock on the N10J has been the price. With a suggested list of $699, it has been out of the price range of many netbook buyers.
But today, both OnSale.com and PC Mall both have slashed the price to $599.99.
Perhaps, with a price under $600, the N10J will finally start to jump off the shelves.
